….lover of copper and all things water….
fall on the Knoll
Even as I continue to harvest green beans and figs from my garden, I can feel autumn approaching. A cleansing downpour was a respite from the heat and reminded me of the joy of cooler days. There is such bounty in the PNW this time of year, and so many seasonal changes to look forward to.
Save the date
I’m delighted to be part of the 2026 Oregon City Open Studios tour on October 3-4! I’m so excited to share my new artwork. Along with a new wave series of pastel paintings, boxed card sets, and leatherworks, I’ve created 3 new copper ornament designs I’m crazy about. Here’s a sneak peak below.
RECENT WORK - Riding the Rugged Wild Wave Collection
A native of Lunada Bay in Palos Verdes Estates California, I’ve lived now in Oregon for 42 years. This continuing series of the West Coast Waves are painted on panels and finished in cold wax, framed in custom handmade alder wood floater frames without the need for glass. Once signed by Carrie, they are easily shipped and ready to hang upon arrival. Ranging in size from 12” x 12” to 30” x 60”, each piece is inspired by travels to beaches of my youth. Commissions available.
