FINE ARTIST
pastel painter
….lover of copper and all things water….
Spring is here
at my Studio on the Knoll.
Just like a songwriter connects with listeners through melodies and lyrics, or an author touches readers with stories, my art has resonated deeply with people, some returning, some seeing it for the first time. It’s rewarding to see others find inspiration in the work I have created. From vibrant paintings to intricate designs set in copper, every piece became a bridge connecting me to a diverse audience from Oregon and beyond; an installation of three copper salmon in a new home in Canby Oregon; commissioned works from Bend to Missoula, to galleries in several states. I am grateful and I am blessed to do this work. This work that makes the world a little brighter, one piece at a time.
RECENT WORK - Riding the Rugged Wild Wave Collection
A native of Lunada Bay in Palos Verdes Estates California, I’ve lived now in Oregon for 41 years. This continuing series of the West Coast Waves are painted on panels and finished in cold wax, framed in alder wood floater frames without the need for glass. Once signed by Carrie, they are easily shipped and ready to hang upon arrival. Ranging in size from 20” x 20” to 30” x 60”, each piece is inspired by travels to beaches of my youth. Commissions available.
